Xander's Birthday Slide

Image

Xander's Birthday!

So for Xander's birthday he decided that he wanted to go bowling too (on his actual birthday). They were all so very excited. They even tried blowing this time without the ramp, but we still had the bumpers. Then for his birthday dinner he decided on Chinese food. We were very surprised, but said okay. He ate everything we put on his plate, and enjoyed it. Then we had cake with both sets of grandparents.

She Got It Done!

Brichette decided that she wanted her ears pierced the last time we were at the mall. We didn't make it over to Clair's before the mall closed, so we had to go back and do it on the following Monday. Melissa's parents came with because Brichette asked them too. She was so excited, but really nervous too. She had to sit on Grandma's lap, the lady let her pierce a stuffed Bear's ears (they had it to show the kids that it's not that big of a deal), but she was still really nervous. So Grandma decided to have her ears pierced first, so Brichette could see that it doesn't hurt that bad. After Grandma had hers done, Brichette climbed back up on her lap and was still really nervous, but let the lady go ahead and put the gun on her ear. We counted to 3 and then the earring went in. She flinched a little bit, but then she was okay. So she now has her ears pierced, and she is one happy little girl!

Helping To Clean???

We had Xander's birthday party at Melissa's parent's house. So the Friday before the party Melissa and the kids went over to get the house clean. Melissa decided to clean the walls, and then the kids saw how much fun she was having, that they decided they needed to help too. They actually made a bigger mess, by spilling the soapy water all over the place, but they sure had fun doing it. Here are some really cute pictures:

Cold Spring Day!

Isn't it supposed to be spring? A couple weeks ago it snowed really bad, over night and left the city looking like this: It's pretty, but not when it's supposed to be in the 60's.
