On Sunday morning, when I went to wake up Zain for church I found Tigger lying at the end of his bed.  It was so cute!

2020-2021

Well, it’s that time of year again... First day of school! It’s so weird to have the house so quiet since the kids have been home 24/7 since March! Yes, it is different this year. They have to wear masks Some activities are different, or can’t be done. Our elementary closed and Zain, Lydia, and Tyler have to go to a new school. Brichette is driving her and Xander to school. But we are brave and strong! As long as we have each other, have Heavenly Father helping us, and we do our best, we can do hard things! These kids are so smart. They have such caring hearts and worry about each other. They are amazing and I am so blessed and honored to be their mom! I can’t wait to see the amazing wonderful things they do! Brichette is a senior this year! I can’t believe she’s graduating and will be an adult in January! Xander is a sophomore. He gets to drive this school year! Zain is in 5th grade. In January he gets the priesthood. Lydia is in 2nd grade. She gets to be baptized and is so exci...

Zain and Tyler’s Bedroom

Image
We haven’t been able to decide on what to do for Zain and Tyler’s room. We had a couple ideas and then we watched the movie 🎥 🍿 “The House With a Clock in its Walls”. They loved the boy’s bedroom with the moon 🌙 phases and we decided to do outer space. We painted a dark blue for the base. Once it dried (couple days) we put streaks of purple, light purple (mixed white and purple), green, and blue-green (mixed green and dark blue) on the walls, then used a sponge 🧽 and went over it with the dark blue (same color as the base) and purple. We then used a paint brush and splattered the white on to look like stars. ⭐️  We ordered vinyl glow-in-the-dark solar system 🌎 with stars 🌟 and shooting stars 🌠 and plastic glow-in-the-dark stars ⭐️ for the ceiling.  The camera 📸 on my phone 📱 couldn’t pick up the glowing very well, but they do glow really good! Also, Nick and I found a rocket ship 🚀 tent/canopy at Target on clearance! 👏🏻 They are so happy and excited! ...

Yeah, he's only One!

So Zain decided that he is big enough to do everything the big kids do... including sliding down the banister.

Zain's 1st Birthday!

Can you believe it? He turned one in November. Crazy how fast they grow up. Before we know it they will be coming home with our grandkids. :) We ordered his cake from Fresh Market so we could get a free little one for him to dig into. They did a great job on the cakes. He had a sports theme. We had the kids do a treasure hunt for prizes, then split it all up once they found the treasure bag. He loved opening the presents and playing the the tissue paper, wrapping paper, and bags. Since then he has enjoyed the toys and it was great to have new clothes for him. Thanks everyone!

He is almost walking without holding on. *He says Da da, Ma ma, Ta-Da, I love you, Hi, No, Na, Boo. *He still loves to play peek-a-boo. *Has his own way of crawling because he doesn't want his knees to touch the ground *Can turn on his mobile. *Loves music, talking, and playing with his big sister and big brother. *Climbs the ladder on Xander's bunk beds. *Sure misses Nick when he leaves for work. *Is attached to Melissa *Loves animals *Pulls out the DVD's at Melissa's parent's house. And so much more. Here are a few pictures of him:

Loving A Baby!

Image
Here are some really cute pictures of Zain loving one of Brichette's baby dolls. He was so cute about it. He wouldn't stop giving them kisses and loving them. He is such a loving baby, just like his big sister and brother! This one was just so cute that we had to share (the baby is on the floor). He will smile if you have the camera out and say "Cheese". So cute!

I Think He Likes It!

Nick was eating a sucker and when Zain saw that he was eating something he did everything he could to get his attention and get over to him. When he finally got to him, he stole his sucker and thought that was the best treat. He didn't want to give it up, but we didn't want him to have a sugar rush.
