June 2022 Dinner Calendar

Image
We had to get a new computer, which means I started a new dinner calendar. Then we couldn’t get it to work with our printer. It’s been a nightmare! But we finally got it working and made June’s dinner calendar.  I forgot to share it, so here it is.

BBQ Chicken and Pineapple Kabobs

Image
Another one of our favorite things to grill is BBQ chicken and pineapple.  Ingredients: 2 or 3 - boneless skinless chicken breasts BBQ Sauce 1 whole pineapple First you cut the chicken into chunks, then put into a ziplock bag. Then pour in the BBQ sauce (we use sweet baby ray’s) so that the chicken is completely covered. Marinate for at least 1 hour, but 4 hours (or more) is best! The longer it marinates the more flavor it will have. Once it’s marinated for as long as you want cut up the pineapple in chunks. Then use skewers and alternate the chicken and the pineapple. Place on a preheated grill and cook until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165°. Serve with your favorite BBQ sides: salad, pasta salad, chips, etc. Enjoy! The chicken is delicious, the pineapple is sweeter, and they taste so good together! Sometimes we even add bacon to the kabobs! We bought the skewers from Target! Aren’t they adorable?

4th of July Nails

Image
I did my nails different for this year’s 4th of July. I still used red, white, and blue, but I did stripes and fireworks using this  Nail Tool ! I absolutely love how they turned out! Also, I am so happy I bought that nail tool from the dollar store! Best $1 I’ve ever spend! Lol!

Beautiful Daylily

Image
Last summer we bought a daylily, but wasn’t exactly sure if the color. We planted it in our front garden by the pond. Well, it bloomed this year and is SO beautiful! I am so happy we bought it!!

Summer Nails

I used a coral and yellow color. Then on my thumb and pinky I used this  Nail Tool  and swirled the colors together. I used the matte top coat on my three middle fingers and used the gloss top coat on the other two. I really love how they turned out!
