This Is Us

Hello, Long time... I am currently writing this blog in July, but changed the date to March so that I can hopefully do some updates on everything. I got discouraged after writing my post on March 24th.  I couldn't find the videos I wanted for the prompt that day  and I felt kind of stupid since no one else really wanted to join in on them. I know, it's silly.  I should be doing it because I want to, not if it's popular.  It just made me feel like I was stupid for even trying to create something.  Oh well... I will do my best next time to not let it get me down. Then we went to St. George for spring break and to take pictures for Xander's graduation announcements. I just haven't felt like blogging much.  It's sad because I really enjoy sharing my thoughts, family, adventures, etc.  I also like being able to look back on these days and reminisce.   What are you?? And Introvert or an Extrovert? Me? I’m an introvert. I am content staying home with my family. However, I do love to travel and see new places. I really don’t like crowds, but if I have to deal with them to visit somewhere new, I will.  I have the Gospel Living app on my phone. I do my best to read through the articles every night. Well, a little bit ago I came across these about our gifts and talents as Introverts and Extroverts and how we can help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So I screen shot them so I could share them, because I felt inspired to. Hopefully no matter which you are, you can find ways to serve others and bring light to their lives!

  In our daily scripture reading we came across this scripture: There are lots and lots of powerful scriptures, but at this time this scripture really stuck out to me. Let’s break it down some... “If all men (meaning everyone) had been, and were, and ever would be (so everyone from the time Adam and Eve left the garden to the time Jesus comes again), like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken FOREVER (I capitalized this); yea, the devil (satan) would NEVER (I capitalized this) have power (so he can’t persuade, influence, seduce, etc.) over the hearts of the children of men (everyone on earth). WOW!!! Can you imagine this? How wonderful would that be? Think of all the love, caring, help, ministering, charity, kindness, peace, etc. there would be in the world!!! No one thinking they were better than anyone else. No violence, rage, anger, hatred, cruelty, etc.  So please, as you go about your days, weeks, months, years, think about this scripture! Th...

What do you think of when we say Sunrise? What do you think of when we say Sunset? What are some of the prettiest sunrises or sunsets you have seen? What sunrises have started your days? What sunsets have ended your days? When we see sunrises, it makes us feel like there is hope for a good day. If there is anything that might be hard or trying that day, we will have the strength to make it through because we were given the feeling of hope in the morning. When we see sunsets, we are reminded of the things we did that day.  Whether they were good or bad.  That no matter what we went through it was a blessed day because we made it through and had another day with our family.
