Bacon Potato Soup

Image
We found a recipe for potato soup on the Internet. It had stuff that we didn’t want in it (like celery and onions) and stuff that was missing. Also, they only used chicken broth and to us didn’t seem very creamy, like a potato soup should be. So I created this one! Bacon Potato Soup: Ingredients- 6-7 Medium Potatoes 2 10.5 oz cans Cream of Chicken Soup 2 “cans” of Milk (*I’ll explain below) 1 14.5 oz can Chicken Broth 2 tsp Onion Powder (heaping) 1/4 tsp Pepper 1 package Bacon 2 bricks Cream Cheese Directions- Put the two cans of soup and the chicken broth into the crockpot. *Use the empty soup cans and fill with milk (both or just do one can twice. I use both to help get all the stuck soup out of the can). Add the onion powder and pepper. Mix well. At this point I turn on the crockpot on low. Peel and cut up the potatoes into small chunks. Carefully add them to the soup mixture in the crockpot (it will splash). Cover. Cook the bacon until it’s crispy. Break into small pie

Breakfast Bagel Sandwich

One of my favorite things to eat for breakfast are mini or regular bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese. They are so good. Especially when we have our fresh eggs that our sweet chickens have laid. I scramble them, because that is the only way I like eggs (well hard boiled too). We buy the already cooked bacon, because I’m lazy, and I just warm it up in the air fryer until it’s crispy. It only takes a few minutes. Then I don’t have to cook a whole pack. I toast the bagel or bagels (two if they are mini) in the toast. Then I put the eggs on, cheese, bacon, and then eat. Delicious! I updated this to include the sourdough bagels I made in 2023. These are store bought mini bagels.
