This Is Us

Last year Nick and I made it to the Temple every month, until everything shut down. Then because of everything going on and Nick being out of town so much, we weren’t able to go until last night. It was so wonderful to be back in the Temple. For me there is always peace in the Temple. I always feel loved, welcome, home, and closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus. I feel like they are sitting right next to me, and that is so comforting! I love being able to go with Nick and feel that eternal connection with him. We aren’t much of selfie takers, put I did get a couple pictures of the temple. Temples are so beautiful!

June 8th was World Best Friend Day. It’s no surprise that Nicolas is mine… We have been through so much together and are so close because of it! 💕 He knows how to make me laugh. 😂 He holds me so tight when I’m sad or upset. 😢 He is my person! 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻 He’s the first person I tell things to. 🗣 When he’s at work, I miss him so much and can’t wait for him to be home. 🏡  There isn’t anything about me he doesn’t know. 💭  He is my soul mate! 🫂 He is my traveling companion! 🗺  He makes me so happy. 🥰 He truly does complete me. ♾ I love you Nicolas!   Every year for our anniversary we go to Anniversary Inn  . If you have never been and don’t know what this place is. It’s luxury and themed suits. We get a different room every year. We usually go to the one in Logan, but a couple times we have gone to one of the ones in Salt Lake. We haven’t been to the one in Boise. The drive up there is so beautiful. The leaves 🍁 are changing and it’s so pretty to see. These pictures just don’t do the colors justice! They are so vibrant and pretty! We get dinner after checking in and have a fun night getting away. On our way home the next day, we stop at one of the the farmer’s markets and pick up pumpkins for decorations and for the kids to carve. I didn’t get any pictures of the room because we have already been to that room and have pictures. We thought we had reserved a different room, but when we checked, that was the room we reserved. Since we have been going for about 20 years we are bound to have the same room. 

Nicolas and I have been married for 22 wonderful years! We have been through a lot. We have gone on so many fun adventures. We have had so many good times. We have had some hard times and sad times, but we have come out of those times stronger and closer. I love you Nicolas! Happy Anniversary, my love! This was in elementary school. We didn’t know until after we were dating that we went to the same elementary and were even in the same kindergarten class. I switched schools after my second grade year. Then half way through my Junior year in High School I switched to Granite, which is where Nick was going. Although I didn’t know him until we met in English class. 😁
