This Is Us

  We bought a dehydrator from  Dash  in March of this year and absolutely love it.  It's not very loud, and it works great. Plus right now (August 4, 2023) it's on sale for $39.99! What!! We have dehydrated strawberries, apples, mangos, bananas, and now I can't remember what else.  lol  I will be dehydrating herbs like Rosemary, Oregano, Sage, Thyme, Lemon Balm, and others. You can do jerky and so many other things.

  For my birthday this year things were different... It started out with me doing a workout from  Grow With Jo on YouTube . Nick took the day off and we had the kids stay home from school because... Nick's brother's daughter got married on my birthday.  They were married/sealed in the Draper, Utah Temple.  Then in the evening they had their reception at the barn at  Wheeler Historic Farm . After attending their wedding, we had lunch with the kids.  Then when it was time we attended their reception.

Hello, Long time... I am currently writing this blog in July, but changed the date to March so that I can hopefully do some updates on everything. I got discouraged after writing my post on March 24th.  I couldn't find the videos I wanted for the prompt that day  and I felt kind of stupid since no one else really wanted to join in on them. I know, it's silly.  I should be doing it because I want to, not if it's popular.  It just made me feel like I was stupid for even trying to create something.  Oh well... I will do my best next time to not let it get me down. Then we went to St. George for spring break and to take pictures for Xander's graduation announcements. I just haven't felt like blogging much.  It's sad because I really enjoy sharing my thoughts, family, adventures, etc.  I also like being able to look back on these days and reminisce. I find it easy to get discouraged when I feel like the stuff I share isn't being liked.  I know, that's ...

Today January 26, 2023 is National Spouse's Day. I am so very grateful for Nicolas. I am grateful he is my eternal husband, bestest friend, confidante, soul mate, adventurer companion, and more! He makes me so happy!

  Today is Squirrel Appreciation Day.  Here are some facts about squirrels: When we were camping with Nick’s family this last August (you can find  The Post Here ) we found a hurt chipmunk. I know it’s not a squirrel, but they are in the same family. We aren’t sure what happened to it, but it was just sitting on the cooler lid and didn’t move much. It finally ran away.
