This Is Us

I am having a hard time figuring out where to start this one… Maybe at the beginning… After Zain was born I got a blood clot in my brain and had a stroke. Although after talking with the oncologist, my blood disorder causes my brain to mimic a stroke, so I may not have had one. Anyway, since then I’ve had a hard time with my brain. I get dizzy really easy, I can’t handle having my head below my heart or my head starts throbbing in excruciating pain, I can’t watch to much flashing lights, and I have to sleep with at least two pillows so my head is propped up. It’s been hard to find workouts I can do without having a major headache afterwards. I was doing Just Dance, but then a couple weeks ago I couldn’t find the game cartridge.   Lydia had her cheer showcase on Monday. She did so good and had so much fun. She is constantly practicing and her hard work showed. The High School cheerleaders came to watch and perform. They even did stunts with Lydia. She is so good and stunting!

  We have the kids do a chore every week day.  I made a chore chart, but after a little while I think they got bored of it and didn't want to follow it anymore.  So we just let them choose which chore they wanted to do, but that got confusing and they tried to pick the same chore everyday.  Either one they didn't mind doing or one that was easy.  So the harder chores weren't getting done and then it wasn't fair to the kids who were picking last because they were always getting the "left over chore".  So I created a new chore chart.  It gives each of our kids a different chore every day, and they have to do everything in one week.
