This Is Us

  Today is Squirrel Appreciation Day.  Here are some facts about squirrels: When we were camping with Nick’s family this last August (you can find  The Post Here ) we found a hurt chipmunk. I know it’s not a squirrel, but they are in the same family. We aren’t sure what happened to it, but it was just sitting on the cooler lid and didn’t move much. It finally ran away.

  I forgot to share our camping trip from August of 2022.  We went with Nick's family.  It was really fun.  We bought paddle boards, Dieter and Colleen brought their kayaks.  We went exploring, played games, and fished. It was warm during the day and a little chilly at night, but once we were in our trailer and in bed, it was just fine.  It was good for a fire.  So, it's great weather! If you ever get the chance, you should go camping in the Uintas! Here are some fun photos from our trip: Tyler was fishing and got the hook stuck in his head. He was so brave and did so good while Nick cut off the 3 hooks 🪝 and was able to get it out.
