This Is Us

  I am making my kids Halloween lunches again this year.  Last year we started making our kids  Home School Lunches .  Last year for Halloween I made them  Fun Halloween Lunches .  This year they have new lunchboxes and we can add more to them.  Here is one of the lunches I made this year for fun Halloween.

At our Niece's wedding they had a photo booth.  All of our kids were able to get in it together and the pictures are the cutest!  I sure love my kids!

  We needed to close off our garden area because Rooben kept getting in the garden beds and making a mess. We went to the hardware store and got stuff to make a trellis for the blackberries, a gate, and close off the end. Lydia and Tyler got to ride with everything on top of them. Lol!  Zain did a great job helping Nick get everything built and put up. We used the plastic lattice and treated wood. Hopefully it lasts a long time. We took Rooben to Lowe’s and he was pouting because he had to be in the shopping cart. 😆 🛒  Tigger climbed on the ladder to help! 😆 🐈‍⬛ 🪜 

  This year (and last year) the Easter Bunny just came to four of our children, because Brichette is an adult! Xander sometimes has a hard time getting up, so we ended up letting the kids go through their “baskets” without him. Usually we have everyone up and go through together, but with this year and Xander being an adult (but not graduated) we just went ahead without him. They always get a new outfit, some candy, books and a few “toys”. The Easter Bunny doesn’t bring much “stuff”. Here are their “baskets” and a little bit of them showing me what they got.

  Even though we had sunshine and warmth in St. George for our spring break getaway:  Day 1   Day 2   Day 3   Day 4   We got a lot of snow at home.  So we will just stay inside and watch movies. lol I know we need the moisture and I am so grateful for it, but I also love the sunshine and warm days.  I try hard to just enjoy every season and everything it brings.  So we will just enjoy having the  Electric Fireplace  on and watching movies in the darkness with our fun LED lights on that are on top of our  Entertainment Center .

Last night due to all the snow we got ( Snow Post - Last Night ) all three schools (High School, Junior High, and Elementary) called a distance learning day.  This means that the kids have to do their schoolwork online and Lydia and Tyler had a zoom meeting with their teachers and classmates this morning. Nick didn't have to go to work and neither did Brichette (they closed the park for the day).  Donna texted me and said that since the schools were closed, she wanted me to stay home and come clean tomorrow (Thursday) instead. Nick got our snowblower working and cleaned the driveway and sidewalks.  Zain got the Honda cleaned off, which was a big project. haha! Once Lydia and Tyler were done with their zoom meetings, they got on their snow gear and went out and played with Zain in the snow. Xander of course slept in late... haha... and is still sleeping. lol I've gotten some laundry done, fed my sourdough ( Sourdough 101 Post ), my workout done ( Workout Post ), "Play...
