Graduation Announcement

Image
I edited my favorite photos from the photos that I took of Xander ( Xander’s Senior Photos ) when we were in St. George, for his announcements. I lightened them, adjusted the color, etc. and I think they look better. Here they are, and his announcement.

First and Last Day

Image
I created this picture with Brichette’s first day of Kindergarten and her last day of High School.  It’s so hard to believe that she’s graduated and an adult. I want her to stay little so I can do my best to protect her from all the bad in the world. I know that’s not possible, so I’ll make sure I am always here for her when the bad things happen. I hope she knows that her dad and I will always be here for whatever it is she needs. I hope she also knows that her Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ love her so much and will always be there no matter what! I am so excited to see what our Heavenly Father has for her future. I know that no matter what her future is, she is going to be amazing! She is so kind, smart, talented, caring, thoughtful, wonderful, and more. She is such a bright light that she’s going to shine ✨ no matter what. I am so blessed to be her mother and her friend! We love you Brichette! Good job!

Seminary Graduation

On May 27th Brichette graduated from Seminary! Yay! Great Job sweetheart! Thanks for listening to us and taking seminary. We know the experiences you had there will help you through your whole life! We love you!

Oldest and Youngest

Image
We had two graduates this year… Brichette from high school and Tyler from kindergarten. Our oldest and youngest… Even with the 12 year difference between these two they have a special bond. Although, Brichette has a special bond with all her siblings. Brichette is excited, but nervous, to start college in the fall. Tyler is excited to go to school all day and have lunch at school.

What… She’s Graduated

Image
And just like that she’s graduated! 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣🎓🥳👏🏻  I know this is what everyone says, but it’s so true... I can’t believe she is this old! It feels like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. 🥲 Brichette, You are an amazing young lady. You are so loving, smart, beautiful, talented, kind, and such a sweetheart. You’re dad and I couldn’t be more pleased with you! We are so excited to see what you do and we are so happy to be here cheering you on! We love you for infinity and beyond!🤗🥰💗😘 Brichette singing with the Madrigals  The young women came and gave her this poster, decorated our porch, and one of the girls made her this cute graduation cap filled with candy!

Brichette is 18!

I can’t believe Brichette is 18. It’s crazy how fast time goes.  Since we couldn’t have a big party, we decorated the yard and her car. Then we asked family and friends to drive past. Some honked, others stopped and chatted awhile. It was really fun! I really wish the weather would have been better (it was cold and rainy), but it makes for good memories, right? My parents, sister and her family, and Nick’s parents stayed for cake. Here is what I wrote on Instagram/Facebook for her: Happy 1️⃣8️⃣th Birthday Brichette!!! I don’t know where to start... I am so emotional today! 🥰🤣😭😲🤪🥲😍 I wish I could eloquently write down everything I’m thinking in my head! 😖 But, that’s not me! So I’m just going to try my best! I can’t believe you have been here on earth for 18 years! It feels like just yesterday we were driving to the hospital, so excited (and nervous) to meet you! I was so worried I wouldn’t be the mother you deserve, and I still feel that way. I already had so much lo...

2020-2021

Image
Well, it’s that time of year again... First day of school! It’s so weird to have the house so quiet since the kids have been home 24/7 since March! Yes, it is different this year. They have to wear masks Some activities are different, or can’t be done. Our elementary closed and Zain, Lydia, and Tyler have to go to a new school. Brichette is driving her and Xander to school. But we are brave and strong! As long as we have each other, have Heavenly Father helping us, and we do our best, we can do hard things! These kids are so smart. They have such caring hearts and worry about each other. They are amazing and I am so blessed and honored to be their mom! I can’t wait to see the amazing wonderful things they do! Brichette is a senior this year! I can’t believe she’s graduating and will be an adult in January! Xander is a sophomore. He gets to drive this school year! Zain is in 5th grade. In January he gets the priesthood. Lydia is in 2nd grade. She gets to be baptized and is so exci...
