This Is Us

Zain Hechtle is here. He was born on November 27. He weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. We have posted anything before now because Melissa was recovering from having him, then she had a stroke on her right side. They found a blood clot on the left side of her brain. She is taking blood thinners, seizure medicine, and blood pressure medicine. She is doing a lot better now, but sure scared all of us. She has to go back in for another MRI in February/March and the doctor's and us are hoping that the clot will be gone. Thank you to all of you for your prayers and thoughts.

We've finally picked a name... Zain Nathanial We are so excited and just love the it. Melissa is very relieved to finally have a name for him, she was really worried about it.

So on Thursday we went in for the ultra sound and found out if our baby is a boy or girl. Our silly baby wouldn't show us until the very very end of it. Through out the whole ultra sound the couple of short shots that we did get Melissa thought Xander was right and we were having a girl. When the baby finally turned just right so we could see, there is no doubt that we are having a boy. They also changed the due date... about a week later December 10th. But hopefully he's like the other two and decides to come early. Brichette was 1 day and Xander was 3 days. The whole ride back to Melissa's parents house (to pick up the kids) we were preparing ourselves for the worst when we told Xander. When we got back they were outside playing. We had them come over to us and we told them that we know what their sibling is going to be. Xander was still so sure that he was having a baby sister that he said "Yeah, my baby sister." We have a new family member. Maren and Eric Jensen had a handsome, healthy baby boy, Ryan Andrew Jensen, on Monday June 8, 2009 @ 3:00 P.M. He weighed 8lbs. 9oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. He did have an oxygen problem and was kept over night in the nursery, but is doing great now. Okay, so here is the update. We are having another baby! WHA HOO!!! Melissa has been very tired and exhausted, more than the other two pregnancies, so she hasn't felt like doing much. The baby is due November 25th. In the picture (not the best) the head is down, butt up, and then arms and legs. Melissa keeps calling the baby a her, because Xander says he is having a baby sister. We don't really have a preference, just that he/she is happy, healthy, and strong. We will find out the sex of the baby in a little over a month. We are having a hard time on names... so if any of you have suggestions we would love to hear them. I think the biggest part of us having a hard time is we don't want "normal" names, but nice, unique names. We were trying to find German names, but didn't like any of them. Melissa was looking for Egyptian names, but couldn't really find any. So we'll see what happens. We'll keep you posted.
