This Is Us

  Today we met up with Maren and Eric's kids and Moppy and played at the park. It was a little chilly, but the kids seem to have had fun. As we were heading over to the park Tyler and Chloe started to hold hands.  Xander had to help them do it again so we could get a picture of it.  It was so cute! The view from the park was so pretty.  We went to a park just southwest of Moppy and Poppy's house.

A little bit ago we went with Melissa's parent's to a pot luck dinner that their square dance club was having. It was at a park, and the kids had so much fun despite how hot it was. We ate dinner, which was good, and then we needed to leave because the kids were going to stay at Page and Chevonne's house. It's a good thing we went with (we weren't going to because the kids were staying over), because we needed to take Melissa's dad home so he could make it back for work that he needed to do. We were walking to the car, and Brichette sat on this rock and posed for us: She was trying not to smile. She said this was her Sexy Pose. Melissa's mom looked at her and said "What are you teaching her?" and then laughed. Melissa was as shocked as her mom was that she said that. She must have seen something on TV, stupid commercials! Xander wouldn't pose for them, with or without Brichette, so Melissa only got a couple shots of him running through the...

Before Melissa (with her mom and aunt) took the kids to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, they went to the dinosaur park in Ogden. Maren and her kids came with. It was a lot of fun. We walked around, and Lorena sat at a table with Ryan because she was to tired to walk around but wanted to be with us, and that kept Ryan in the shade. The above picture Melissa took right as they got there. All the kids ran over to this grassy area to see a dinosaur, and I ran on the other side. We didn't line them up like that, they did that themselves. Once we got done walking around, we got some hamburgers and nuggets from the concession place they had their and went over to the Park and ate. In case you haven't been their, they have a park connected to the Dinosaur Park, with Dino slides, swings, and all sorts of fun stuff. We found a nice table in the shade and enjoyed a nice lunch. After the kids were done eating we started feeding the sea gulls. They were pretty crazy... when ...

A little while ago Melissa and the kids met our friend Chevonne at a park. She was watching her niece and nephew for the day, and thought that they could meet them at a park and have lunch. We had it planned for awhile so the kids kept asking when we were going to meet them. At first we had to tell them it was awhile before, then the week before we met them we had to keep telling them that it would be on Friday, not till Friday . When Friday finally came they couldn't wait. They were so excited they would ask every 5 minutes if it was time. They got to the park and ate lunch, then let the kids play on the play ground for awhile. Then came back to the house and had Popsicles and played for a little bit in the back yard.
