Just The Boys!

Image
Nick, Xander, and Zain were all sitting in front of the TV playing the Wii (well except Zain, LOL). Melissa thought it was so cute that she took pictures and we wanted to share.

Why? It's Ridiculous!

So we have been noticing that most of the movies coming out lately are rated R. Why is this? Because it's cool to listen to swearing, or watch actors pretend to be in love and make out, or see naked bodies, or watch someone have their head sliced open??? If it's not that then why are movie companies so insistent about putting things in their movies so they can get the rated R rating? What is this world coming to? It has been many years since we've watched a rated R movie. We have movie night at home, with the kids, and our options are slowly shrinking. We go to Target or ShopKo to see what movies have come out for us to buy so we can have movie night, and there are more rated R movies than G, PG, or PG-13. It is so awful! What happened to the good old movies that you could watch with the whole family? That made you laugh and feel good after you watched them? Well here are some: *Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightening Thief (A little violence, and a couple s

What A Mess

Melissa had asked Brichette to feed Zain so she could finish eating lunch. She was talking to Xander when she realized Brichette wasn't feeding Zain, but he wasn't fussing. She looked at him, and guess what... Brichette had left the food on the tray and he spread it all over. He was having a good old time making a mess with food. Just like his sister and brother used too.

One night the kids were wanting to roast marshmallows, so we decided that it would be fun to roast them over Dieter and Colleen's fire pit . The kids had so much fun, and the marshmallows were very yummy!

Grand Kids 2010

Here are some pictures of Dieter and Colleen's grand kids. Melissa took them with her dad's camera. She did really good, but wishes they would have turned out better. She thinks she didn't do a good enough job taking them. Being Silly: The Boys: The Girls: Alysha: Kaleb, Allie, Ashton, Sofie: Brichette, Xander, Zain: Matthew, Jake, Alex:

Fun At Lunch Or Breakfast??? Okay Brunch!!

Image
One of the times that Nick was out of town working we went with my parent's and my Aunt Lorena to Cracker Barrel for Brunch. It was after one of Brichette and Xander's T-Ball games. We had fun, but wished Nick could have been with us, and Zain got to use his high chair that hooks onto the table. It is so awesome. It is one of the best things we've bought! We really like Cracker Barrel, but wish we had one closer to us so we could go more often. My mom and Brichette being silly! Playing checkers Zain eating his first orange. He loved them. He ate a whole one!!
