This Is Us

Here are some pictures from Melissa's parent's annual Halloween party.  It is always a lot of fun. On Halloween we went Trick-or-Treating with Melissa's family.  We usually use the ATV and pull the trailer behind it, but we didn't get it out this years.  So Melissa's parents hid their van seats in the stow-and-go and everyone piled in the van.  It was a lot of fun, and the kids really enjoyed it.  Melissa had made cookies shaped like pumpkins and frosting and bought a whole bunch of candies to decorate them with.  So after trick-or-treating the kids decorated cookies.

Sorry, things are out of order.  We had saved Some posts from last year and before when you had typed them up, when you published them it saved the original date.  Now it's not doing that so they are all out of order.  Hope you can follow along okay.

We celebrated Easter in our new house this year.  It was so fun. Again this year we had the Easter egg hunt at Dieter and Colleen's on Saturday and one on Sunday and Kim and Vera's.  We did go to Dieter and Colleen's Sunday night for dinner. Pictures...

In April we went out to help paint Maren and Eric's new house.  When we were done, picked up the kids from Page and Chevonne's, and got home Melissa was broken out in hives.  We called Colleen, and she told her to wash our clothes, take a shower and some benadryl, and it should be gone by morning.  Next morning the hives were gone, but Melissa was feeling really tried, which is understandable from taking the benadryl.  Well by Thursday of the following week Melissa wasn't feeling any better.  She was so tired, and drained and couldn't feel up to doing much.  So she went into instacare and found out that she is pregnant.  Yep, SURPRISE! We were really worried because of what happened after Zain was born.  She called her doctor right away, and found out they no longer take our insurance.  So they referred her to another doctor that does.  Which we are okay with, but would much rather go back to her original doctor.  Anyway, he prescribed Heparin (blood thinning medicine

So we all went to Yellowstone in July of 2011. It was a fun short trip and we got to meet our new niece/cousin Cassidy, and visit with Jessica and Kevin. We miss them lots, and it was so great to spend time with them. We met up with them in Pocatello, and then all drove to the cabin. We stayed for the weekend, drove home late/early Sunday night/Monday morning. Kevin, Jessica, and Cassidy drove home Monday. Kim, Vera, Maren, Eric, Joey, Zack, Carol, and Ryan stayed the whole week, and came home the following weekend. On our way in to the cabin, there was a Farmer's Market so we stopped and found some really cool stuff. Then Sunday we spent the day in Yellowstone. It was so fun, and we can't wait to go next year!
