Tyler’s Baptism

Image
Tyler was baptized today. It makes my heart happy when our kids love the gospel and want to do the things Heavenly Father has asked us to do. He was so happy today! We didn’t have a luncheon afterwards because I had Allie’s Bridal Shower that I was doing. I wanted to make sure that Brichette could be off work, so that’s why I had it on the same day as Tyler’s baptism. Here are the two photos I got of his baptism.

Lydia’s Baptism

Today Lydia made the decision to get baptized. We are so happy! Because of the pandemic we weren’t able to have anyone there with us. Everyone had to join the zoom. Even though it wasn’t the same, I’m very grateful for zoom so that everyone could still watch her get baptized. I didn’t get any photos at the church, but the couple who help with the baptisms did. So hopefully we will get a copy. I did get a picture of her in her baptism dress outside in our front yard.

Brichette's Baptism

It is so hard to believe that our baby girl is 8. She is so beautiful, wonderful, special, amazing, smart, talented, caring, loving, happy, spirited. We are so happy to have her for a daughter. We waited for a long time to have her and am so happy she's here. We are so happy that she wanted to be baptized and is so excited about it. We are so grateful to have the gospel in our lives. It has helped us through lots of trials and helped us grow closer together as an ETERNAL FAMILY. This is just one step she has taken to grow her own testimony, and show everyone how important and wonderful the gospel is. We love you so much Brichette! XOXO!!! *When Brichette was blessed Melissa and Vera found red shoes for her to wear. So Melissa decided that since she wore red shoes then, she needed red shoes for her baptism. So Melissa, Vera, and Lorena hunted for red shoes. Melissa told Brichette that whether she likes it or not, she is wearing red shoes for her wedding. :-D

Isn't Church On Sunday???

Image
On Saturday we went to my friend's Mother's funeral and then went to my cousin's son's baptism (WOW, that's a mouth full). We were getting ready and the kids looked at us and said "Is it church today?" We said "No", then they asked why they had to wear their church clothes. We explained that the funeral and baptism take place in a church and we want to show respect to them and to Heavenly Father. They still didn't want to wear their church clothes, but were a little better about putting them on. I pulled Brichette's hair up and I think it looked pretty cute. Here are a couple pictures: I did the zig-zag on the top and pulled into 2 pony tails. Then I parted the bottom into two and pulled the top pony tails into it. The last twist of the hair tie, I only pulled a some of the hair through and created a loop. She was very excited and told me how cute she looked. * While I was taking the pictures of her hair, Xander had to sneak in with an ad...
