Did you know that today is National Winnie the Pooh Day? Ever since I can remember I’ve loved Winnie the Pooh. Nick has always liked Tigger. So when we got married, Nick’s older sister made us a cross-stitch for our wedding present. Our oldest daughter painted me a canvas and  These Shoes! Nick bought me a Lego set. Here is some information about Winnie the Pooh and A.A. Milne.

Brichette loves to paint. She recently found out that she likes to paint shoes. She painted these shoes for herself: She then bought more white shoes, and painted them for me. She is such a sweetheart! Here are mine: Didn’t she do a great job? Those bees... 🐝 aren’t they wonderful?!

I went shopping on my lunch one day, which is one of my most favorite things to do, to get the kids new school shoes. I went to ShopKo, because first off I love it there, and second they have Payless Shoes. They were having their BOGO (for those of you who don't know what that means its: Buy One Get One) 1/2 off. I was really excited about that, then the shoes I bought were also on sale. So I got all 4 pairs for $40.00. I am so happy! Here are Brichette's Shoes: Brichette had wanted some sandals that light up, but no matter how hard we looked and where we looked we couldn't find any. Well I lucked out. These sandals light up, and they are princesses to top it off. The other pair are pink and brown, and I just love those two colors together. Okay, so the shoes I'm wearing today is a pair that Brichette gave me for my birthday, and they are on my list of Favorites. They are very comfortable, very flattering, and oh so cute! I think they bought them at Mervyn's. Can I just tell you... I love Mervyn's. They have so many cute clothes, shoes, and home decor items, that I can't go in there anymore because I come out spending way to much money. Oh and their kids clothes... I can't stop! My kids usually come out with a whole new wardrobe when I'm done. And don't get me started on The Children's Place. I love it when they have their sales!!! So, I used to love shopping at New York and Company, but they have gotten so stinkin' expensive. Plus the clothes there aren't much different then clothes at Mervyn's, Target, or Sears. By the way... I hate Wal*Mart!!! No one there has any manners, you can't ever find anything, and there is no one that can help you! We stay far away from that pl...
