Day #9: On the ninth day of Christmas someone gave to us: Nine ladies dancing (well just one and the rest are dancing candy canes)!

Day #8: On the eighth day of Christmas someone gave to us: Eight pints of milk (chocolate and strawberry) and a tin with yummy cookies! The kids were teasing me and trying to photo bomb the picture. So I told them to line up with their backs to me so I could use their white shirts as a background, and I would take a picture. So here it is:

Day #7: On the seventh day of Christmas someone gave to us: A tin with seven swans filled with candy, and a really cute puzzle! The swans open up and have candy inside:

Day #6: On the sixth day of Christmas someone gave to us: Six "geese a laying". Six candy cane peeps, and eggs filled with silly putty! This was written on the outside of the carton that had the eggs filled with silly putty: The kids got into the peeps and the silly putty, before I could get a picture taken. So the picture is missing three "geese" and four eggs. =D

Growing up my mom, Maren, and I would give the 12 Days of Christmas to people. It was so much fun! The thrill of ringing the door bell and running. The excitement in their voices when we would hear them talking about what they had received. Them never knowing (at least that we knew of) who had brightened their days. It was just a great feeling! Well this year our family is receiving the 12 Days of Christmas. It's only been two days so far and we are having so much fun... The excitement the kids have to open the door and bring the bag in the house, to watch their eyes light up as they open the bag and see what's inside, and their happiness as we sing the song! Here is day #1: On the first day of Christmas someone gave to us: Books and a Partridge in a Pear Tree!
