What Are People Thinking???
Sometimes we just don't understand people. We live in the USA, and want our money to stay here, correct?
So why buy foreign vehicles??? If we buy GM, Ford, Dodge, etc. that creates jobs HERE in the USA, and keeps our money here to help our economy. People who by foreign vehicles are helping other countries... send our money over to them, creating jobs for them, and making it so companies here go out of business. Some government agencies and the Salt Lake City police buy Toyota cars. On the news the other night, one of the Salt Lake City Police Chief's said that they bought four Toyota Hybrids. They couldn't buy more because they cost so much, which means they have fewer police officers patrolling, which also means fewer jobs. What In The World Are They Thinking??? How dumb is that? Buy cars that don't help our economy, cost more so they can't buy as many, and less police out there getting the bad guys. DUMB!!!
It's not like they last longer, get better gas mileage, or help with any jobs here! Most Chevy, GMC, Ford, & Dodge, vehicles get as good or better gas mileage than any foreign cars. Is it because of the "label" or the "trendy thing"? Is it a status thing, that if you buy a Toyota, Honda, or Volkswagen you are "rich" or "upper class"? What is the difference between foreign cars and American cars other then with American cars the money stays in the Great USA???
So if you are buying foreign cars, please rethink your decision and buy American Cars! Keep our money and jobs here so that our economy can prosper!!! Why would you live in the USA and support other countries???

We do own 2 Hondas (once owned Chevy) but my opinion is that it's one of the great freedoms we can have in this amazing country, is the choice to buy and drive what we choose :)
