Our Urban Farm

Last year (2018) our urban farm really started to grow.  We got more planter boxes, planted a lot more fruits and vegetables, and had a lot more flowers too.  We put in a fire pit, which I absolutely love!
We participated in the #superduperseedswap in October and January and got a lot more seeds.  Lots of tomatoes, flowers, watermelons, peppers, beans, onions, garlic (I will be growing for my parents since Nick is allergic to garlic), carrots, peas, and so many more!  We also hope to get some chickens this year.

We don't have any photos from August.  We were to busy having fun in Germany and France for our 20 year wedding anniversary, taking the kids to Moab, and Freemont!

  I love to take photos.  It is so enjoyable for me.  I took Brichette's Bridals for her wedding.  We went to a church downtown because they have a huge garden area with a stream running through it. I know I'm not the best photographer, but I do enjoy it. :) Brichette painted her shoes herself! She did an amazing job (like she always does)!

Pink Chicken Coop - DIY Chicken Coop

Here is our Pink Chicken Coop that we did ourselves. We built it in 2019. Nick built it and the kids and I painted it. He came up with the plans, after showing him some I liked, and built it. Then Brichette painted the Sunflower 🌻 and bee 🐝 on it for me. It wasn’t very hard to build and didn’t cost much. I love it so much!  We added party lights and pink lights for the night. 🤩
