One Heck Of A Time!!!

So as you all know we are trying to buy a house. Well it's not going so good. Every house we've tried to look at has just went under contract. The three that we did look at, oh boy! The one smelled so bad like animal and children pee, that we walked in and walked back out. It was so gross. Xander said, as we were walking in "Oh, this place smells really bad (gag)". I don't see how they can have their children living in that filth. The other house had really bad water damage, and would take a lot of time and money to fix up. It would have to be completely gutted and re-done. Then the last house we looked at was good. It was built in '96 and needed just a little bit of work, that we could see. Well we signed the papers for the offer, and turned them in to the other agent. He said that he wasn't even going to send them into the bank (it's a short sale and the bank was going to reposes it on the 11th), because the bank had refused every offer he sent in to them. It was the 10th, they might have taken our offer just so they didn't have to reposes the house, but whatever. So we are still looking. We have thought about buying brand new, since a couple places are starting in the $150's, but then we couldn't be in the school district for Brichette's elementary.

Dave, the broker we are working with, is great. Thank you Dave, and Thank You Matt for helping us!

I know how you feel. We are looking right now, because it's such an awesome time. We hope to rent this one out...but who knows

Our realtor said to stay away from short sales because they take forever to get an offer accepted. The banks just don't care! Frustrating!

You guys are in our prayers and I'm sure it will all work out how it needs to be.
