Winter Nails

 I painted my nails two blue colors and used the Nail Tool that I bought at the dollar store to make snowflakes ❄️ on my thumbs and small dots (snowflakes) on my index/pointer finger and pinky. I used the regular top coat on my fingers with the snowflakes and the matte coat on the other two.

My hands are always red right after painting my nails. I’m not sure why… but it goes away quickly.

For the first time our kids are taking a home lunch to school! I’m having such a hard time finding things to send with them. I don’t want them to have the same thing every day, that’s so boring and gets bland. But so far Zain has been fine with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Lydia and Tyler on the other hand want something more than sandwiches. So… I’m going to compile a list of main lunch ideas, some snacks, sides, treats, and drinks. That way I can remember everything and mix and match. We will have them pick one item from each list (2 from sides and Fruit/veggies). Please Note: Our children are picky eaters. So this is a list of stuff our children will eat. Simple and Easy St. Patrick's Day Nails

  When I was doing my nails this time, I wasn't in the mood to do a lot to them, and I was in a time crunch. I just painted my thumbs and middle fingers white, my pointer and pinky olive green and my ring finger with yellow sparkles. I was hoping the yellow sprakles would look like gold.

OUCH!!! Why Did It Have To Happen???

Poor little Xander... It was the night of July 23rd, all the kids were playing with sparklers. The sparklers started curling and breaking off... come to find out they were wood. Why in the world would they make wood ones??? STUPID!!! So Jake (Matt & Mieshka's son) gets a little burned by one... Then our poor little Xander man. He was moving it around, doing circles. A piece dropped off and landed right into his flip flop. He can't get it off, because there is elastic on the back, as I'm running over there, he starts screaming louder. I try to run faster, but it feels like one of those dreams... You run and run and run but don't seem to move, so you try to run faster, and seem to get now where faster... I finally get to him, tell him to through the sparkler down and yank his shoe off. I can see this huge burned hole in his foot.
