Mini Pumpkin Shaped Pizza

 Tonight for movie night instead of making my mini sourdough pizzas round I shaped them like pumpkins. Here is my Recipe For Sourdough Mini Pizzas

When Jeff (my cousin who is more like my brother), his wife Abbie (Here are their wedding photos that I took), and Jeff's boys come over for movie night, we have so much fun that I don't usually get a lot of photos.  Tonight was no exception... I only got these three photos. haha

We watched the new Hocus Pocus 2.  It was really good and I enjoyed it.  However, the first one will always be my favorite!

Here is our Pink Chicken Coop that we did ourselves. We built it in 2019. Nick built it and the kids and I painted it. He came up with the plans, after showing him some I liked, and built it. Then Brichette painted the Sunflower 🌻 and bee 🐝 on it for me. It wasn’t very hard to build and didn’t cost much. I love it so much!  We added party lights and pink lights for the night. 🤩

Popcorn

Today is National Popcorn Day (along with National Tin Can Day and Get to Know Your Customer’s Day). We love popcorn! 🍿 We eat it all the time.  We like to make our own, but also like the white cheddar Smatfood popcorn, kettle corn, caramel popcorn, from the movie theater, and even some gas stations. Today I made caramel popcorn. I got the recipe from Nick’s mom. You can find the recipe  Here Xander got this popcorn maker as a white elephant gift. This is the white cheddar popcorn we like. Did you know… Popcorn is over 5,000 years old. World War II’s sugar shortage led to Americans to eat 3x more popcorn. It’s gluten free Nebraska produces more popcorn than any other state. Unpopped kernels are called Old Maids Americans eat 17 Billion quarts every year. It’s the state snack of Illinois. What are your favorite flavors of popcorn?

Brichette's Bridals

  I love to take photos.  It is so enjoyable for me.  I took Brichette's Bridals for her wedding.  We went to a church downtown because they have a huge garden area with a stream running through it. I know I'm not the best photographer, but I do enjoy it. :) Brichette painted her shoes herself! She did an amazing job (like she always does)!
