Wedding Dress Shopping - Part 1
Yesterday Brichette, Lydia, and I went wedding dress shopping. Colleen, Sam's sister and Sam's sister-in-law went with us.
We went to David's Bridal and looked at a lot of dresses, but there wasn't really any that Brichette liked. There was one that she liked more than the other's, but it was over $1,000 and we were trying to keep it under $1,000. I can't believe how much dress are now days! Mine was $500. It had a ton of bead work, a long train, and was really thick material. Anyway... we decided to go look some other places, but Fantasy Bridal will only take you if you have an appointment and everywhere else was closed. So, Brichette made an appointment for Fantasy Bridal. Update: This is where she ended up finding her dress that she loves, and it was under $1,000. It actually looked similar to the one she liked at David's Bridal, but I think it's much more elegant and beautiful.
Here is one of the dresses from David’s Bridal.
Here is another one.
And another one.
This is the one she really liked, but it was over $1,000.
I know she really liked that dress, but I’m glad she listened to Colleen and I and decided to try somewhere else, so she could find the dress she got!
I do have to say for anyone looking for wedding dresses… David’s Bridal isn’t the best. I feel the dresses aren’t as good of quality as other places. The staff were okay, but they could have been more helpful and a little more kind.
