Lydia's Room

In March of 2018 (yes, we know this was over two years ago.  We are way behind and just starting to catch up) we were able to create Lydia's room.

Tyler was potty trained.  So he was able to get out of the crib and moved into Zain's room with him on the bunk bed.

Lydia loves Frozen and pink.  So we found her a bed set and went from there.  We had these little woodland critters for Brichette, but she obviously out grew them.  So they went to Lydia and she is so happy with them.  However, with our walls being textured they don't stick very well (if we ever have Nick build us a house, we are NOT having textured walls!) and are constantly falling off.  There is also a matching picture holder that is on the opposite wall.

Colleen made curtains for her window:

We added some of her drawings and paintings to the wall along with her class picture.  We found some glow in the dark unicorn stickers.
We also added the cheer picture she made at cheer camp.

Her dresser broke so we had to buy a new one. We moved the bookshelf by her closet.

See sweet Lucy in the corner?

So this is Lydia’s room. She absolutely loves it and has since we finished it.

Fun fact:
This room was Zain’s room when we first moved in (paint was a light blue). Then it was Lydia’s when she was born. Then it was Tyler’s and now it’s Lydia’s again.🤣  The light blue paint stayed until we painted the pink and purple in March of 2018 for Lydia (again).
