Another Fun Getaway - Day 1

We went camping 🏕 with Nick’s parents and one nephew. We stayed by Flaming Gorge. We took our trailer and his parents rented a trailer. We stayed in Green Lake camp ground.

I made a menu on Excel for our meals and desserts. It included what we were eating and everything we would need for that meal. That was so helpful! I suggest you doing it!

The first day:

We were almost ready to leave. Nick was filling up the tires and saw that they were bad. So we took the trailer to get new tires. While we waited we finished getting ready and making sure we had everything we needed. It took longer than they had said. So I dropped Nick off back at the tire place to see if they just forgot to call us. Nope, they were having problems and the guy working on it was on his phone a lot. He finally got done, and the manager said he couldn’t figure out how to get the hubcaps back on. He ended up denting two of them, but Nick didn’t notice until he got home. Anyway, we got over to Dieter and Colleen’s. Then once everyone was ready we headed out. We went up Parleys, through Wyoming, and then back down in to Utah by Flaming Gorge. We stopped at Evanston to get gas and food. Luckily we could go into Wendy’s to get food. It would have been a nightmare to try and get the trailer through the drive-thru. But since they were open we could get food and then we ate in the car. We got up there and got the trailers all set up. Then we started dinner. Afterwards, we made s’mores and talked until it was time for bed.

This is the inside of our trailer. We bought it like 6 years ago. It’s a 1978. I recovered the cushions, Nick put down new flooring and installed new lights. I didn’t get time to do the curtains before we left.
