Another Fun Getaway - Day 3

 Saturday we got up, had breakfast, got ready and headed out to find somewhere to kayak and fish. First we went to Moose Ponds, but there wasn’t much of a shore to sit on. So we decided to find another place. We drove back by our camp and went to West Green Lake. When we arrived we saw some big horn sheep! There still wasn’t much of a shore, but we decided to try it out. They had a little doc with benches. We took our canopy and set it up by some trees for extra shade, but it was kind of far away from the water. The kids got in and played. They said the bottom was soft and mushy, but they played for a little while. Then they got out and we ate lunch. After lunch they decided that didn’t want to get back in the water, and we decided to head to Flaming Gorge.

This Damselfly landed on Tyler. He was so happy!

We found a nice spot at Flaming Gorge (despite the people next to us taking baths. 🙄). The kids played and kayaked, and we had lots of fun! Zain and Nick tried to fish, but never caught anything. Zain was sad.

Once it started to get dark, we packed up and headed back to camp. We stopped at a store and got a fountain drink (which they were out of ice) then went back to the trailers and made dinner. Sat by the camp fire and then went to bed.

Oh... Brichette wanted us to stop at the dam so she could get a couple pictures.
