Spring Break 2023 - Day 2

 The next morning, we woke up, Nick and the kids played while I made breakfast, Lydia and I did a workout from Grow With Jo - YouTube, we got ready, Nick got the RC Cars ready, we made lunch to take with us, and then we headed out for the day.

Our first stop was the Red Hills Desert Garden in St. George. It was so pretty and educational.  There are also some dinosaur tracks that are preserved.

Then we climbed the rocks and played at the "park" that is next door. They must have done an Easter Egg hunt, because we found a random egg. 😂

We stopped at Pink Box Donuts that is in St. George.  Their donuts are really yummy!  Because it was close to Easter, they had some cute bunny donuts and one with a peep in it.

Next on our adventure we went to Fort Zion.  It's a little bit outside of Zion National Park.  It was so fun.  The petting zoo was closed because of all the rain.  It flooded the walk ways.  Which we were sad about, but we were going to try and come back the next day.  They also had the cutest little "town" that the kids could play in, but it was with the petting zoo.

We made it into Zion.  We drove around and then stopped so Nick and the kids could play with their RC Cars.  They had so much fun!

After we walked around the little town just outside of Zion, then stopped at a diner for dinner.  There was a long wait and it was late... They ended up writing down the wrong name for Nick, it was something like Stew, so they skipped over us.  Nick went to talk to them and they ended up getting us a table really quick.  The food was good.

We went back to the house and crashed. lol
