Caramel Popcorn
Today I made caramel popcorn. I got the recipe from Nick’s mom
Caramel Popcorn
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter
- 1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
- 2 cups (packed) Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Water
- 10-12 cups Popped Popcorn
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan on medium heat stirring constantly. Just as it’s getting to boil, spread the popcorn onto the baking sheet. Once boiling, add in the baking soda and stir until lighter in color and “airy”. Pour over the popcorn, and mix until it’s all coated. Let cool and enjoy.
